The F2007 was first unveiled to the public on January 14, 2007 at Ferrari's Fiorano test track in Italy.

The 2007 F1 season became legendary due to the intensity of on-track battles, the emergence of Lewis Hamilton as a superstar, high-profile controversies including the 'Spygate' scandal, and a thrilling conclusion to the season, making it one of the most memorable in the sport's history.

The chassis was significantly altered from the previous season's car (which finished as runner-up to Renault in the Constructors' Championship ) however, the most obvious outward change was an increase of the wheelbase by 85mm. . .  with the extra length added between the cockpit and front wheels.

attract

attention & excitement

Quite aside from delighting the growing cadre of F1 fans, our Ferrari show car serves as a powerful engagement tool. . .  the sleek design and familiar, vibrant, livery of the scarlet F2007 creates instant visual impact at any event!

[ BONUS:  sponsorship and livery. . . ]

The 2007 season saw the introduction of a Europe-wide ban on tobacco advertising.  In order to circumvent this restriction, the car's livery did not feature the product branding of their main sponsor, Marlboro cigarettes.  Instead, a simple red and white 'barcode' was displayed during all European races, so that brand promotion was purely through association.

However, to avoid any issues with the ASA regarding current advertising standards, this graphic has been omitted. . .  which also leaves the prime position free for your own branding.  (Just ask for details when you call for a chat!)

The F2007 occasionally carried a far less prominent sponsorship logo for Martini but, for the same compliance reasons, the showcar is presented without.

The red colour variations used on Ferrari F1 cars

At the 2007 Monaco Grand Prix, Ferrari changed the base colour of their cars from the lighter 'Marlboro red' to Rosso Corsa, or racing red (see above), which was kept for the rest of the season and is the colour used on the tribute car.

introducing. . .  'the zed'

Every show car display from FF1 is set up, and supervised for the duration of the installation, by our own costumed operator wearing a reproduction of Kimi Räikkönens race overalls and crash helmet.

Some say that he speaks sixty languages, including ancient Greek and Sanskrit, and is able to teleport at will.  In the best tradition of motoring journalism, all we know is, he's called 'the Zed!'
